A third of web pages published since ChatGPT launched were written by AI, study finds

A Pew Research study found that over one-third of web pages published since ChatGPT's November 2022 launch show signs of AI authorship or heavy editing. The study analyzed nearly half a million English-language pages and noted .com domains had the highest AI content rates. While detection tools may misclassify some pages, the trend indicates significant AI-generated content growth on the web.
