Zoho cofounder Sridhar Vembu said AI firms like Anthropic can choose to slow or stop their own development if concerned about risks, but criticized calls for others to halt while continuing their own work. He acknowledged AI risks but urged evidence-based assessment and focuses much of his work on AI safety and reliability.
