AI hyperscalers are expected to finish the year spending a whopping $828 billion on capex

Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, and SpaceX are projected to spend up to $828 billion on capital expenditures in 2026, driven largely by investments in AI infrastructure. In Q3 alone, these hyperscalers spent about $227 billion, marking a 20% increase from the previous quarter, with plans to continue increasing spending in 2027.
