The AlphaFold Protein Structure Database has been expanded to include over 8,000 predicted structures of virus protein pairs from 23 virus families that infect humans, enhancing resources for pandemic preparedness. This update addresses previous gaps in viral protein data by incorporating complexes and accurately identified viral protein sequences.
