ASIA WATCH: Japanese recycling expert turns waste glass into Palau tourism success

Japanese recycling expert Katsuo Fuji helped establish Belau Eco Glass in Palau, turning waste glass into popular eco-friendly souvenirs that attract tourists and support local artisans. The initiative began in 2004 and has grown into a signature brand with ongoing support from Japan International Cooperation Agency.
