Canada formally applies to join northern Europe’s military initiative

Canada has officially applied to join the UK-led Joint Expeditionary Force, a northern European military coalition, aiming to strengthen defense and security ties. The move follows talks between Canadian PM Mark Carney and UK PM Andy Burnham, who also discussed defense industry cooperation and AI technology collaboration.
