CAS directs IIHF to allow Russian national teams to compete in international tournaments

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has overturned the International Ice Hockey Federation's (IIHF) suspension of Russian national teams, ordering their reinstatement in international competitions for the 2026-2027 season. This ruling nullifies previous IIHF decisions that excluded Russia from events, including the 2026 Winter Olympics.
