OpenAI has added an Apple Messages plugin to ChatGPT for Mac, enabling the AI to read, search, draft, and send messages via iMessage, SMS, and RCS on Apple silicon Macs. The feature requires user approval for sending messages and is available across all ChatGPT plans on macOS.
