Chinese state-backed hacking group Vapor Panda has used the AI-powered penetration testing tool ARTEX to attack over 200 organizations worldwide, including government ministries and critical industries. The group employed AI-driven agents coordinated by a human operator to conduct large-scale intrusions and post-exploitation activities such as deploying malware and credential spraying.
