China’s homegrown DUV chip tool now has a name: Shanghai Aishengna

Shanghai Aishengna Electronic Technology Group, a state-owned Chinese company, is leading efforts to mass-produce domestically developed immersion deep-ultraviolet (DUV) lithography machines. This move aims to reduce reliance on foreign technology amid export controls restricting access to advanced tools from ASML. The company has consolidated teams from various startups and is still developing its technology, which currently lags behind ASML's models.
