Claude’s Chrome side panel is now a full Cowork session

Anthropic has upgraded Claude's Chrome side panel into a full Cowork session, enabling browser tasks and conversations to sync across Claude's desktop, web, and mobile apps. This update allows seamless continuation of tasks like data collection and spreadsheet creation across devices, with existing skills and connectors working without extra setup. The feature is available now for Max and Team customers, with a Pro rollout planned soon, though it currently supports only Chrome on desktop.
