Canada joins Nvidia in backing Cohere’s record C$7bn Series E

Cohere, a Toronto-based AI company, has initiated the first close of its Series E funding round targeting up to C$7 billion, potentially valuing the company at C$35.7 billion. The Government of Canada is among the new investors, committing up to C$1.14 billion, with Cohere planning significant investments in Canadian computing infrastructure and job creation.
