Defense chiefs of S. Korea, Japan reaffirm 3-way coordination with U.S. amid N.K. threats

South Korea's Defense Minister Kang Shin-chul and Japan's Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi reaffirmed trilateral coordination with the U.S. to address North Korea's nuclear and missile threats during a meeting in the Philippines. They also discussed recent border tensions and cooperation on defense technologies including AI and unmanned systems.
