Pavel Rabtsevich, an amateur astronomer, used AI tools including Anthropic's Claude Code to analyze TESS satellite data and identified a new exoplanet candidate orbiting star TIC 4206066 every 3.18 days. He verified the signal across multiple years of data, estimating the planet to be about 1.4 times Earth's size with extremely high surface temperatures.
