Elga coal terminal reaching design capacity

The Elga Port Marine Coal Terminal in Russia reached its design capacity by shipping 2.5 million metric tons of coal in October 2026, enabling an annual throughput equivalent to 30 million metric tons. This milestone follows the 2025 launch of the Pacific Railway, which connects the Elga coal deposit to the marine terminal and supports up to 50 million metric tons annually.
