Embassy confirms bodies found in Nepal as those of missing Japan alpinists

Two missing Japanese alpinists, Hidesuke Taneishi and Tetsu Hashimoto, were confirmed dead after their bodies were found on Mt. Gangapurna in Nepal. They lost contact after reaching 7,050 meters and were discovered at 6,300 meters elevation following a helicopter search.
