Pony.ai and Verne have launched Europe's first fully driverless robotaxi service in Zagreb, Croatia, with rides booked via Uber and no safety driver onboard. The service uses Chinese Arcfox Alpha T5 vehicles and aims to expand to over 2,000 robotaxis across Europe, but EU-wide approval limits pose regulatory challenges.
