Fighting AI Slop in Science Papers

arXiv has imposed a new limit of two submissions per month per author due to a surge in AI-generated and low-quality scientific papers, with submissions in its cs.AI category increasing over sixfold since 2024. This move aims to address the logistical and quality challenges caused by the flood of AI-assisted research papers.
