Google acquired a large dataset of Spirit Airlines' employee and workplace records, excluding personal customer data, under a court-supervised process to de-identify personal info. However, Spirit flight attendants and their union are concerned that the privacy protections focus on consumers, leaving employee data vulnerable to re-identification and misuse.
