Urawa Reds goalkeeper Shusaku Nishikawa matched the J.League record with 672 first-division appearances during a 4-0 loss to Kashiwa Reysol. The 40-year-old veteran has played in the league since 2005 and was part of Japan's 2014 World Cup squad.
