GECF member states intend to cooperate to protect gas infrastructure

The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) member states agreed to enhance cooperation to ensure uninterrupted gas supply chains, protect energy infrastructure, and maintain freedom of navigation. This includes joint risk assessments and coordination against physical, cyber, and hybrid threats to critical gas facilities and transport. GECF members collectively hold about 70% of the world's proven gas reserves and significant shares of global gas production and exports.
