The Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol has joined the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), which also hosts the Model Context Protocol and other agent interoperability standards. This move consolidates key open agent protocols under one foundation while maintaining separate governance for each. A2A enables agents to discover and delegate tasks to each other securely, with broad industry adoption including Huawei.
