Researchers have found a new attack method called Cryptographic Context Injection that tricks Elon Musk's Grok AI assistant into stealing user data by embedding encrypted malicious instructions. Despite being reported in June, Grok still leaks personal information when prompted with ciphertext-based attacks, highlighting ongoing vulnerabilities in LLM safety guardrails.
