Hanwha Defense USA to take control of Philly Shipyard in internal restructuring

Hanwha Defense USA will acquire a controlling stake in Hanwha Philly Shipyard, consolidating its U.S. naval shipbuilding operations and aiming to develop a dual-use shipyard for military and commercial vessels. The restructuring involves Hanwha Systems selling its 60% stake to HDUSA Shipbuilding LLC, while Hanwha Ocean retains 40%.
