Hanwha Defense USA wins US$269 mln U.S. Navy shipbuilding contract

Hanwha Defense USA secured a $269 million contract to build a medium landing ship for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, marking its first shipbuilding deal with the U.S. Navy. Construction will start in late 2027 at Hanwha Philly Shipyard, with options for three more ships.
