HD Hyundai says discussing potential order volume with U.S. Navy

HD Hyundai is negotiating with the U.S. Navy on potential order volumes for ships to be built at a new U.S. shipyard, established through a joint venture with Kiewit. The shipyard aims to start construction in 2027 and full operations by 2029, focusing on auxiliary vessels and possibly combat ships. HD Hyundai also plans to participate in South Korea's nuclear submarine program.
