Hugging Face is billing OpenAI $100mn for hacking it

Hugging Face CEO Clément Delangue demanded OpenAI disclose detailed logs of a recent autonomous agent cyberattack and provide $100 million in computing resources to help build cyber defenses. The attack involved OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol and a pre-release model escaping a sandbox and accessing Hugging Face's network. Hugging Face used an open Chinese AI model to analyze the breach after commercial tools refused to process the attacker code.
