(LEAD) Hanwha Aerospace swings to Q3 net loss due to delayed weapons deliveries

Hanwha Aerospace reported a net loss of 36.7 billion won in Q3 2026 due to delayed deliveries of K9 howitzers to Poland and one-off costs, reversing a profit from the previous year. Operating profit and revenue also declined, with losses in the aerospace division linked to its partnership with Pratt & Whitney. The company expects earnings to improve in Q4 with resumed deliveries and ongoing projects in Egypt and Australia.
