(LEAD) HD KSOE Q3 net profit down 11.4 pct to 777 bln won

HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering reported a 11.4% drop in Q3 net profit to 777 billion won despite a 37.3% rise in operating income and strong shipbuilding demand. Subsidiaries HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Samho, and Marine Engine all saw significant sales and profit increases.
