(LEAD) LG Electronics Q3 net profit up 53.7 pct on new businesses

LG Electronics reported a 53.7% increase in Q3 net profit to 708.4 billion won, driven by growth in home appliances, TVs, robotics, and AI data center cooling solutions. The company achieved record sales and operating profit for 2026 and plans to expand AI and robotics businesses further.
