South Korean President Lee Jae Myung pledged to resolve all doubts about the 2022 Itaewon crowd crush during its fourth anniversary memorial, extending the investigation commission's mandate to September 2027. The disaster killed 159 people and injured 196 during Halloween festivities in Seoul.
