Lidl has launched a cab-less autonomous electric truck supplied by Einride for daily store deliveries in Germany under a Level 4 permit from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority. The truck runs without a driver onboard on a fixed route, aiming to address driver shortages and test integration into Lidl's logistics.
