Lightmatter joined the Open CPX Multi-Source Agreement and launched the Passage L20 CPX optical module, the first Open CPX module using bidirectional optical link tech for AI infrastructure, halving fiber and connector needs. The Passage L20 CPX delivers 6.4 Tbps via a near-package optics platform, enabling more efficient AI scale-up networks by reducing fiber count and costs significantly in large GPU pods.
