LitPivot: Developing research ideas through dynamic contextualization within the literature landscape

LitPivot, developed with the University of Pennsylvania, is a system that aids researchers in refining ideas by dynamically contextualizing them within relevant literature, improving novelty and grounding. A study with 17 researchers showed LitPivot-enhanced ideas were rated as more novel, useful, and better understood compared to those developed with standard tools. The system will be presented at UIST 2026.
