Meta Networking at the 2026 OCP Global Summit: Open Innovation for Scale-Up, Scale-Out, and Scale-Across AI Networks

Meta unveiled several advanced networking technologies at the 2026 OCP Global Summit to support its AI models Muse Wonder and Muse Spark and its large-scale Prometheus cluster. Innovations include liquid-cooled racks, multi-plane fabrics, petabit-scale super-spines, and open-source RDMA transport MetaRoCE. Meta also co-leads the OSPA initiative to standardize switch platform layers with Microsoft and Alibaba.
