Micron Demonstrates 512GB DDR5 RDIMM, Targets Second-Half 2027 Production

Micron Technology has demonstrated the world's first 512GB DDR5 RDIMM, capable of speeds up to 9,200 MT/s, targeting production in the second half of 2027. The module uses advanced vertical stacking with TSVs to enable up to 12TB of DDR5 DRAM in a single server, supporting large AI and data-intensive workloads. AMD and Intel are actively validating the module for next-generation server platforms.
