Nordic Semiconductor Combines Wi-Fi and Edge AI in nRF71 Chips

Nordic Semiconductor launched the nRF71 Series chips, integrating Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth LE, Thread, application processing, and on-device AI with up to 20x lower standby power than prior models. The nRF7120E includes a dedicated Axon neural processing unit enabling faster local ML inference for battery-powered devices.
