NVIDIA has released cuDSS, a CUDA-X library that accelerates large sparse system solving in engineering and scientific simulations by leveraging GPUs. Major companies like Applied Materials, COMSOL, Cadence, Dassault Systèmes, Siemens, and Synopsys have integrated cuDSS, achieving speedups from 4x to 10x in various simulation tasks. The library supports scaling from workstations to large clusters, enabling faster, more detailed simulations at reduced cost.
