Nvidia donated a DGX GB300 AI supercomputer to the US Naval Postgraduate School, marking the first such system in the US military. The system, valued around $15 million, will support research in weather prediction, ocean modeling, cybersecurity, and maritime digital twins. The donation bypassed traditional procurement and aims to train students on advanced AI models, including a foundation model named NPS GPT.
