Omen AI adds liquid know-how in $16 million Aquatic Labs acquisition

Omen AI, a startup developing real-time water sensors for data center cooling systems, has acquired competitor Aquatic Labs for $16 million to combine their technologies. The merged company aims to launch an integrated sensor by early 2027 to improve monitoring and reduce costly downtime in chip cooling. Omen's sensors target data centers consuming 250-300 MW now, with plans to cover 1 GW by end of 2027.
