Over 100 organizations including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft have signed a letter urging businesses and governments to prioritize cyber defense and address software vulnerabilities. The EU's Cyber Resilience Act, effective September 11, mandates reporting of exploited vulnerabilities and incidents. The letter also calls for coordinated efforts against AI-enabled attacks and support for defenders of critical infrastructure.
