OpenAI Is Shutting Down Its Browser That Was Supposed to Change Everything

OpenAI is discontinuing its AI-powered browser Atlas, launched in October and plagued by security flaws and slow performance, after less than nine months. The company plans to focus on enhancing Chrome browser extensions and is introducing ChatGPT Work, a new office software suite.
