OpenAI’s London staff averaged £2.3m each in 2025, Guardian reports

OpenAI's London staff earned an average of about £2.3 million each in 2025, including salaries and shares, with total payouts of £255 million. The UK branch more than tripled its turnover to £293 million and made a £20.3 million profit. London serves as OpenAI's largest international research hub, employing AI researchers and business teams.
