OpenAI, PerturbAI, and Scripps Research deployed nearly 2,000 AI agents using GPT-Rosalind to analyze a mouse brain CRISPR gene atlas in 32 minutes, a task that would take humans months. The AI agents generated a comprehensive reasoning atlas linking genes, cell effects, literature, and mechanisms, reproducing known findings and discovering new leads. The results are detailed in a bioRxiv preprint and the reasoning atlas is publicly available on GitHub.
