South Korean Prime Minister Han Seong-sook pledged to preserve and promote the Korean script Hangeul in the AI era, aiming to expand Korean language corpora for AI training and increase global Korean language education by 2030. The National Hangeul Museum, damaged by fire in 2025, is scheduled to reopen in 2028.
