Police officer indicted for fabricating, distributing deepfake videos of acquaintances

A Seoul police officer was indicted for creating around 400 deepfake videos of acquaintances using AI and distributing about 50 of them. He also possessed thousands of illegally filmed videos, including child abuse content, and had prior investigations for similar offenses.
