Prosecution not to appeal partial acquittal of ex-officials in 2019 deportation of N. Koreans

South Korean prosecutors chose not to appeal the partial acquittals of three former officials involved in the 2019 forced repatriation of North Korean fishermen, while deciding to appeal the acquittal of a fourth official. The case concerns the deportation of fishermen accused of killing crew members, during the Moon Jae-in administration.
