Qualcomm Closes All-Stock Acquisition of Compiler Startup Modular

Qualcomm completed its acquisition of Modular, the AI infrastructure company behind the Mojo programming language, by issuing up to 19.2 million shares to Modular's investors. Modular's products, including Mojo, MAX, and Modular Cloud, will continue under Qualcomm with expanded investment. Modular's co-founder Chris Lattner joins Qualcomm as EVP of advanced AI software and platforms.
