Reflection debuts Beam, an open-weight AI model to rival Chinese models at lower compute cost

Reflection AI has launched Beam, a 501-billion-parameter open-weight AI model that rivals leading Chinese models on reasoning benchmarks while using 3-4 times less compute. Beam features a 1 million token context window and aims to compete with both Western and Chinese AI labs.
