Samsung reportedly in talks to back Mistral at €20bn valuation

Samsung is reportedly negotiating to invest hundreds of millions of euros in European AI startup Mistral, potentially valuing the company at around €20bn. Mistral is raising about €3bn in a funding round, nearly doubling its valuation from less than a year ago, with previous investors including ASML and Microsoft. The deal would provide Samsung a strategic foothold in AI software to complement its hardware business, especially in memory chips.
